Arcadis’ Vancouver office is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to join the Canada West Regional Marketing Team. As a key player of the team, you will be an integral part of diverse pursuit initiatives while working with different departments and specializations within the firm. Working with other marketing and proposal coordinators, graphic designers and senior leadership, you will bring your expertise in proposal development to produce winning proposals.

This position will have the flexibility for a hybrid work environment, combining a "work from home" and in office work environment for our Vancouver office OR work remotely from Alberta or British Columbia locations of Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, or Calgary.

Most of the things you’ll work on:

• Contribute to the generation, collection, dissemination and storage of proposal related information review, and analyze in-bound proposal requests (such as RFQ, RFP, EOI, etc.) to help prepare responses
• Assist with non-technical writing for proposal efforts and provide editorial oversight, including copy writing and editing
• Develop opportunity-specific content as necessary, including organizational charts and schedules
• Maintain and update CRM and content library best practices
• Coordinate team members and implement internal deadlines to complete proposal forms, custom resume alterations, additional information from subcontractors, etc. to meet the proposal due date
• Coordinate with the professional staff and marketing/graphics team to prepare proposals which includes collecting and analyzing business related information, writing, designing, editing and producing proposal documents
• Support marketing functions as needed including: event organization and facilitation, photography, preparing newsletters, writing project descriptions, liaising with global communications team, and supporting speaking engagements.
• Function as the primary point of contact, and create a submission schedule for the proposal team in regard to communications and reminders on proposal deliverables and deadlines

Qualifications

You'll need to have:

• Proficiency of Microsoft Office
• Quick learner and self-starter with the desire to continually learn and grow
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (would be an asset)
• Strong organization skills with great attention to detail
• Ability to read an RFP and pull out the key pieces in order to streamline processes
• Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills (technical/proposal writing would be an asset)
• Bachelors Degree in English, Marketing, Communications or other relevant discipline
• 1-2 years in the AE Industry
• Strong project and time management skills
• Strong communication (written and verbal) with all levels of the business
