MPE, an Englobe company is seeking a Technical Proposal Writer to join our team in our Lethbridge office.  We are looking for an eloquent, persuasive proposal writer to join our team. The proposal writer's responsibilities include gathering information, formatting the information according to our company's policies, and sending the proposal to the appropriate source.

The successful candidate should be articulate, have excellent written communication skills, and be able to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines, be detail- oriented, consistent, and able to write in a factual, convincing manner.

Our proposal needs tend to fluctuate from week to week and month to month and we are looking for someone who is flexible and able to work within our proposal team.

As a  Technical Proposal Writer, you will work in collaboration with the Proposal Team. 

Your main responsibilities will be: 

• Writing technical content for the proposals and other branded documentation.
• Assisting with preparation of presentations and other documents
• Lead the technical writing of all proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals, Requests for Qualifications, Expressions of Interest, etc.
• Organizing and filing proposal materials (photos, project profiles, resumes, etc.)
• Developing and updating corporate resumes, project profiles, etc.
• Proof-reading / editing
• Coordinate and manage MPE branded submission documents.
• Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rule
• Coordinating with Project Managers and key staff regarding content of the proposals.

• Experience writing proposals in the engineering sector.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Publisher.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent writing and proof-reading skills
• Experience in engineering, architecture, or construction industry.
