What is the Opportunity?

As part of the growing Business Development Team, the Proposal Specialist will assist in the management, production, coordination, and development of proposals and credential packages, that support the firm's growth and strategic efforts. Working closely with Entuitive's Leadership team and technical experts, the Proposal Specialist will ensure consistency of materials and messaging across all markets while elevating the firm's brand. The Proposal Specialist will ensure all work is carried out in full support of Entuitive's Vision, Mission, Values and One Company culture. Entuitive is seeking a highly motivated Proposal Specialist based in Calgary.

What will you do?

• Participation in strategy discussions and win themes for high profile proposals.
• Stays abreast of marketing best practices, market and industry trends, companies, and competitors to support decisions with respect to marketing and business development initiatives.
• Manage and coordinate the proposal process from start-to-finish to ensure top-quality, competitive, and winning response to comprehensive RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, RFSOs and related documents.
• Participate in the development, maintenance and coordination of content, tools, and templates for ongoing improvement of proposal management.
• Conduct debriefs with clients.
• Writing and editing thoughtful, tailored narratives focused on meeting or exceeding the client and/or project's requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Monitor progress of the proposal process with timely follow-up to ensure internal proposal deadlines are being met.
• Manage the bid kick-off and proposal planning session, ensuring that all key proposal stakeholders are represented and well-informed.
• Mentorship of junior staff.
• Lead the RFP review process including reviewing RFP requirements and identifying possible red flags, establishing a proposal checklist which outlines deliverables, responsibilities, and timelines for the submission as well as and identifying questions for the client.
• Draft, edit, assemble, and review proposal copy for compliance, accuracy, and content, and coordinate / participate in review sessions with team members to ensure the integrity of all documents.

• Able to have fun and love their work!
• Stellar client service skills along with the ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as external parties.
• Experience preparing responses to RFP/RFIs, customized pitch books and presentations.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience working within a proposal or BD team is required.
• Ability to work Overtime if needed. We work hard to maintain a good work-life balance, but overtime may be needed on specific submissions or busy periods.
• Diploma or degree (preferred: Business, Marketing, Communications, English).
• Good judgement and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
• The willingness to be Entuitive.
• Ability to effectively deliver quality work with a sense of urgency and a high degree of attention to detail.
• Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign. Working knowledge Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
• Ability to effectively deliver quality work under tight deadlines and a high degree of attention to detail.
• Strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and competing priorities.
• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Experience working in the Architecture, Construction, or Engineering is an asset. All other professional service experience will still be considered.
