Proposal Content Specialist Jobs

Support development and delivery of major proposals and business development materials

Support proposal delivery for Calgary studio from research and kick-off to interview and close-out

Work with marketing and practitioners to support pursuit strategy and develop successful proposals

Contribute to and maintain CRM.

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the product applications and the competitive market;

Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience;

Experience in Sales and Customer Service is an asset;

Knowledge in Gas Turbine or Turbo-machinery industry, HVAC systems is an asset;

Good knowledge of English (written and spoken). Working proficiency in French is an asset.

Reporting directly to the team leader, this person’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Working in collaboration with Recruiters and Account Managers to find compliant candidates

Communicating with candidates via telephone and email to gain a deeper understanding of their relevant experience for the role

Writing an effective response to the RFP that is clear, concise and compliant with the requirements

Operating our automated “grid tool” system to highlight specific portions of the candidate resume in response to RFP requirements

Proven technical or creative writing experience required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Read and distribute Request for Pre-Qualification/Request for Proposal (RFPQ/RFP) information to the pursuit team

Set deadlines for content and manage

3-10 years’ experience in a sales, business development or marketing environment with proposal creation responsibility

Superior written and verbal communication skills

Experience working with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

Experience working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)

Offering support and guidance regarding the firm’s credentials that would be best comparable to the opportunity at hand

Offer presentation development and coaching support for Partners across the firm, understanding presentation best practices

3+ years of work experience in proposal writing role

Excellent written and communication skills are vital.

Strong experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Ability to prioritize workloads and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines

Assist with maintaining, monitoring, and managing proposal database, files, and systems through appropriate information management systems

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications, Journalism, English, Liberal Arts, Construction Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent

Analyze and interpret documents (RFQ, RFI, RFP) and requirements to prepare and develop comprehensive response templates (compliance matrix, proposal outlines, schedule)

Serve as lead writer for various technical and non-technical proposal sections (e.g., project descriptions, qualification summaries, resumes, project approach, etc.)

3+ years of proposal coordination/writing experience in engineering/construction or similar industry

Effective communicator, with strong writing skills, including ability to write concise, compelling, and compliant technical and non-technical content

Developing conceptual knowledge of own discipline. Developing knowledge of own sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups.

Prior proposal experience is preferred

Develop proposals; ensure deals deliver shareholder value; drive competitive pricing. Includes compiling and submitting required tender documentation.

Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

Ability to communicate succinctly and coordinate with Internal team members

Leadership qualities to ensure project stays on track

Participate in the development, maintenance and coordination of content, tools, and templates for ongoing improvement of proposal management.

Manage the bid kick-off and proposal planning session, ensuring that all key proposal stakeholders are represented and well-informed.

Writing and editing thoughtful, tailored narratives focused on meeting or exceeding the client and/or project’s requirements.

Participation in strategy discussions and win themes for high profile proposals.

Monitor progress of the proposal process with timely follow-up to ensure internal proposal deadlines are being met.

Possessing exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) when dealing with lawyers, clients, staff and third parties

Demonstrating strong research, investigative and problem solving skills with the ability to exercise judgement to resolve issues

Prepare pitch, proposal and credential documents in support of new business requests. Responsibilities include:

Previous experience in Janitorial / Sanitization product sales, ideally B2B.

Minimum 4 years’ experience working in a design services or AEC environment

At least 5 years of proposal management experience in A/E/C (or related) industry with an emphasis on qualifications-based collaborative delivery projects.

Skilled at collaborating with and interviewing executives, engineers, construction managers, legal, designers, and others to secure information for various writing assignments

Creates and manages pursuit responsibility matrices defining roles, deadlines, and assignments.

At least 3 years of proposal experience managing and coordinating construction projects..

Ensure that proposals are compliant to required standards and managed within strict deadlines.

A competitive salary within a range of $70,000 to $95,000 depending on experience
