Candidate Profile
The Senior Proposal Specialist supports the engineering staff as an integral member of the Ontario/Quebec Structural Team. The ideal candidate has strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication, experience with creating and delivering high quality proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Create project write-ups for use in marketing material
  • Assist in arranging photography and project database maintenance
  • Ensure all branding guidelines are followed graphically
  • Ensure company presentations are high quality and deliver the marketing message; evolve the quality and professionalism of presentations
  • Keep all marketing resource material up to date (project write-ups, resumes etc.)
  • Coordinate and produce a high volume of proposals – take ownership for submission preparation, ensure compliance, achieving deadlines, and improving win rates
  • Coordinate and submit awards submissions
  • Support corporate marketing – provide timely input for social media, website content, etc.
  • Search bid sites on an ongoing basis for relevant RFPs and coordinate client outreach
Professional Qualifications:
Education:
  • Completion of post-secondary education, preferably in Business Administration/Commerce or Communications
Experience:
  • 3+ years of AEC industry experience.
Skills:
  • Able to interact professionally with all levels of business personnel and build strong working relationships
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and project management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (all programs), InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Photoshop
  • Ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with minimal oversight
  • Excellent communication, writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Committed to providing exceptional client service
  • Flexibility to change priorities while managing multiple projects and deadlines
