Job Description
Hi, I'm Laura from. I’m currently the VP of Brand Marketing & eCommerce and we’re looking for a Social and Community Specialist to join the team. I have been with the company for four years and although we have managed to accomplish so much in that time it feels like we’re just getting started! It is amazing to look back at the way the company has evolved, pivoted and scaled since its inception. We have an incredible team that are supportive of one another and I think that’s what sets us apart from a lot of other places to work.


In this role, you’ll be key support to our owned and organic social channels ensuring our owned community is engaged with and we are consistently present to grow our audience as well. You’ll work directly with our Marketing and Creative Services teams to post, engage, like, comment, answer DMs, capitalize on relevant trends and facilitate contests and other growth opportunities for the brand. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to support brand and product campaigns and ensure our team is set up for success is key to this role.


The Opportunity:


  • Creating content on TikTok and Instagram as needed
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Examine the performance of social content on a weekly basis and use this to grow our online brand voice
  • Highlight content opportunities based on trending themes and topics
  • Posting across all social platforms in conjunction with the wider marketing and creative teams
  • Work with Brand Content Manager to plan and execute the monthly organic social content calendar to coincide with product launches, events, marketing and brand initiatives
  • Engaging with our online audience across various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Evaluate platform performance monthly alongside Brand Content Manager and Growth Marketing Manager


What you bring to the table:


  • Proven ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks at once while working within tight timelines, and can quickly adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience with community management and social management tools is an asset (Dash Hudson, Hootsuite, etc.)
  • Up-to-date knowledge and experience with Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a relevant field of study
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment through self-prioritization
  • Flexible with working hours (being available to work some weekends, evenings and during key gifting periods as required)
  • A keen pulse on trends across all social media platforms and the industry as a whole
  • A take-initiative, team-forward attitude, and can bring ideas forward
  • Knowledge of analytic tools to showcase growth, determine qualitative insights and recommend new strategies

Location:


  • We have flexible working arrangements for the team. This role requires you to be in the office 3-4 days a week.
