The Role (Marketing Lead):
Marketing Lead is responsible for managing all our marketing efforts at this point. This is a great early stage opportunity for ambitious marketers. You will have the opportunity to help us build out the marketing foundation at Shipday—from developing messaging and positioning, telling our customers’ stories, architecting campaigns, building out enablement resources, and more.
You will partner with our product, sales, customer success and partnership team to build, launch, and drive adoption of Shipday.
Responsibilities:
- In addition, you'll partner with external companies to find joint marketing opportunities that can benefit both parties.
- Work closely with the product and design team to create messaging that engages our users and partners, and you'll assist with new launches.
- You'll be responsible for creating and managing content, with some help from contractors, for our website, product marketing, social channels, events, and the sales team.
- You'll also take charge of our early paid growth marketing initiatives across various channels.
- Last but definitely not least, you'll help us plan virtual and in-person events like trade shows.
Requirements:
- Project manage various marketing initiatives across different channels to ensure execution tracks against timelines.
- Strong bias to action and ability to manage and complete tasks with minimum guidance. Self-starter.
- Ability to make marketing plans and execute them. Ability to write about the product, both short and long form.
- Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of product marketing experience.
- Understanding of marketing analytics. Campaign optimization/making decisions based on data. Basic messaging and creative sense (aka channel/creative fit)
- Writing ability. Understanding of how to distribute content you've written (including basic SEO)
- Previous work experience in a marketing role in low ACV B2B self-serve SaaS.
