Magog's research and development team is looking for a new industrial designer to join our multidisciplinary team. Do you want to contribute to the design of equipment that changes lives? Join us!

Responsibilities:

• Realize or support the realization of prototypes for the purpose of experimentation;
• Participate in the investigation and mapping of customer needs;
• Develop user interfaces (UX)
• Imagine concepts of solutions or products;
• Support the engineering team that will bring the concept to the manufacturable product stage;
• Integrate the brand image and guidelines of the Arjo group into product design;
• Optimize product ergonomics;
• Work with the team to translate the need into functions, forms and performance;
• Act as an industrial designer, in the development team of the various Arjo products, both for the lifting equipment, its control interface and for the patient interface (slings or harnesses);
• Act as the local representative of the Industrial Design team of the Arjo group based in Sweden;
• Carry out the first concept sketches;
• Work in a regulated product development environment.

Requirements :

• Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite;
• Be able to travel occasionally
• Professional level French and English (4/5);
• Knowledge of materials and their manufacturing processes;
• Strong ability to illustrate needs, ideas or concepts;
• University education in industrial design, combined with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience;
• Knowledge of SolidWorks with intermediate knowledge in surface modeling;
• Team player, creative, passionate, eager to learn, always considering the user in his approach, appreciates the physical work of prototyping and experimenting;
