Job Description

Profile: We provide cutting-edge architectural hardware solutions for luxury residential homes and are looking for an A&D rep who is connected in Montreal with the community of architects, designers and contractors. You will develop and grow your already existing relationships.
Territory: Greater Montreal
Workplace: Montreal
Products/Services: Architectural hardware solutions
Salary: Base $75,000-$85,000
Commissions/Bonus: 10% of base salary
Car allowance: $/km
Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

  • 2 weeks vacation during construction holiday
  • 1 week outside of those times
Functions
  • Prepare and submit detailed project proposals and bids, addressing client needs and specifications.
  • Maintain an understanding of our products and services
  • Be onsite for estimations, installation and product training
  • Build and nurture relationships with architects, interior designers, and design firms to promote our products and services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions
  • Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our features and benefits
  • Collaborate with the A&D community to understand project needs and specifications, and provide tailored hardware solutions.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the architecture and design (A&D) sector.
Requirements
Development vs Maintenance: 80% vs 20%
Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%
Languages: French and English (fluently bilingual)
Education: College degree or equivalent experience
Training: On the job provided but we are looking for someone with established relationships within the A&D community
Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel
Years of experience: At least 3 years of experience

  • Great listening skills
  • Comfortable handling high-end clients
  • Great follow-ups skills (returns calls and emails)
Transferable contacts: Contacts within the A&D community in and around Montreal
Transferable Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of the industry and strong relationships with key players.
