We currently have a full-timeHotel Sales Managerposition available at Coast Capri Hotel. This position can be partially remote with some time spent on the hotel property, some remote office/work-from-home days, and some minor travel. Duties and Responsibilities:
· Actively researches, qualifies and solicits new business prospects through personal sales calls, lead follow-ups, networking, ongoing correspondence and daily cold calling
· Successfully maintains and builds existing clientele relationships that result in achieving and exceeding revenue/referral business goals
· Collaboratively works with direct reports to establish, monitor, and ensure delivery of strategic goals that align with established objectives of the hotel strategic plan
· Proactively positions and markets the hotel by effective revenue/yield management to achieve maximum hotel profit
· Manages current market-specific account relationships to maximize guest room nights and long-term loyalty
· Creates and implements a sales plan that drives measurable incremental occupancy, increases average rates and margin.
· Achieves the monthly and annual personal target(s), contributing to the Sales revenue
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
· Minimum two (2) years experience as a Sales Manager
· A degree or diploma in Hotel and Resort Management, Hospitality, Tourism or Marketing is an asset
· Willing to travel within and outside of Canada to perform sales duties and training events
· Must have flexibility in availability in order to conduct site inspections and off-site presentations for current and potential clients
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
· Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns, in a friendly and positive manner
· Must have a valid driver’s license and own a reliable vehicle

Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year plus commisions
