Description


We are looking for an articulate well-organized individual to provide general office administration support to a high-growth financial risk management firm.


This role would be suited to someone who has had previous experience in a similar role and is looking to take on more responsibility and grow within a fast-paced company. This is a brand-new role and will play a key part in our North American operation as we continue to grow. You will be joining the corporate team (currently mainly based in the UK) and will be reporting to the Head of Human Resources. This role will take responsibility for office organization, administration, events planning and corporate administration. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Provide administrative assistance and support to all departments
  • Dealing with incoming post, couriers and deliveries
  • Handling all inbound calls
  • Assist in planning and preparations for company events, and training days
  • End-to-end office management of our Toronto Office.
  • Manage meeting room and site facilities including assisting in set up of conference tele/video, refreshment, it assistance and other general requests
  • Occasionally support for Europe and New York operations.
  • Meeting room and desk booking system management.
  • Gatekeeper and front-of-house responsibilities as the first point of contact for all visitors
  • Ensuring health and safety, and hygiene standards of the office are maintained.
  • Maintaining office supplies and equipment
  • Working closely with HR, Events, Corporate EA’s, Finance, Marketing and IT departments this role will be a generalist role and will be a great opportunity for someone to grow and manage full office operations.
  • Updating and filing corporate documents
  • Onboarding new starters


Requirements


  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in a small company environment.
  • Comfortable both working under their own autonomy and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in an office environment.
