Job Description
An established and successful accountancy firm in Ilford are looking for an Office Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis and hybrid basis.


This role will sit as part of the business development team and will involve providing administrative support to key departments in the firm. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working in professional services and be self-motivated and efficient.

Key Duties


  • Support to improve and develop internal systems
  • Assist partners with administrative support
  • Assist with personal tax administration if required
  • Create and upload key documents onto the company system
  • First point of contact for new enquiries and potential clients, obtaining key information and booking appointments
  • Advance systems and processes on document management system
  • Manage client portal documents
  • Liaise with clients over phone or email
  • Deal with the onboarding experience for new clients
  • Deal with IT coordination and external systems and software used by the company
  • Raise fee invoices
  • Undertake and handle special projects and support other departments


Key Skills


  • Excellent communication skills- verbal and via emails
  • Ability to create new systems and identify efficiency improvements and implement changes
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Packages
  • Team player
  • At least 5 years’ experience working in professional services
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Great organisational skills
