Your New Company:
Client is a growing software and engineering company in the field of infrastructure asset management (roads, bridges, tunnels, rails, etc.). Digitalization is a mainstream in their business and drives or product development to new innovative technologies.
Your new role:
This role is responsible for securing new opportunities primarily in the Americas region (North, Central & South America). To that end, responsibilities include:
- Lead on the day-to-day winning of work in support of the Global and Regional Business Development (BD) Strategy
- Review prospective leads and opportunities through regular meetings with management
- Manage client touchpoints as agreed by Global BD
- Support develop and grow our global partner management
- Define client project goals, objectives, resource requirements and clients’ expectations for completion date
- Lead bid writing, management, compliance and submission following the Deighton standard operating processes
- Develop and maintain a full understanding of the client's suite, it’s application in client organizations and the capability to demonstrate this effectively
- Conduct a market analysis into enterprise asset management software in the Transport sector of the Americas helping to identify potential markets
- Act as Account Manager for agreed clients and partners
- Maintain an up-to-date CRM activity pipeline and up-to- date account plans
What you need to Succeed:
You hold a degree in a related discipline (Business, Civil Engineering or Software Development) OR experience in a related role and sector
- You are self-motivated, proactive and continuously aim to improve
- You are able to work self-managing and independently, as well as part of a team
- You are an excellent communicator , demonstrating confidence in well written communication and presentations
- 4+ years’ experience in Civil Engineering
- A foreign language (e.g. Spanish) would be a plus
- You have above average IT skills, especially O365 suite (advanced excel skills)
- And you are able to work remotely, but also as part of an office (location dependent)
- You are confident, highly collaborative and an good listener
