As part of our Canadian expansion, Carré Blanc is adding an Assistant Manager/ Business
Development Manager for our store located on St Denis Street, in Montreal Quebec.
Key Responsibilities

• Under direction of the store Manager and with guidance from Vice President, execute

retail selling strategies, storewide promotions, programs, and events at retail.

• Establish ongoing coordination and communication with Toronto Headquarters to
• Collaborating with Store Manager and Toronto Based Team to meet targets.
• Identifying and contacting potential clients through networking and marketing methods
• Seeking, developing, and managing a network of local designers’ partners
• Addressing client complaints or concerns
• Developing new sales areas and markets.
• Creating sales presentations for potential clients
• Planning and directing marketing and advertising campaigns.
• Execute retail promotions for Carré Blanc

coordinate sales calls and retail promotions.

• Partner with cross functional business areas to influence and gain buy-in for in-store

strategies related to digital and mobile programs.

• Keep all products and in-store presentations and demonstration equipment clean and

neatly organized.

• Develop trusted customer relationships by anticipating customer needs
• Develop accurate reporting mechanisms of all Business Development programs.

Team Building

• Work with Toronto based Headquarters and Store Manager to recruit and mentor all sales

staff

• Create strong cohesion and team spirit to encourage and promote curiosity, diversity, and
• Aid in the training of new team members

As the Business Development Manager, you will be an ambassador of the brand for our
customers. You will be an integral part of sharing the corporate values of Carré Blanc with the entire store team.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following:

• Post Secondary Education, bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Business Marketing

Management, Interior Design is an asset.

• Familiarity with social media, industry publications, and competitors of the company
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to embrace change.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Bilingual capabilities in English and French
• Ability plan and organize sales presentations, meeting, marketing strategies, and more.
• Knowledge in interpreting company financial data and the ability to analyze it.
• 3-5 years Retail experience
• Committed, proactive and passionate about retail and customer service.
• Rigorous, results-oriented, strive for excellence.
• 3+ years of People Management
• Proficient in computer skills: MS Office & CRM
• An interest in Interior design and inspiring clients
• Working in multi-channel (direct/indirect) environment, ecommerce experience is an asset.
