Senior Planner Jobs

An international Engineering company is looking for an experienced Senior Planner.

Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, you will thrive on working in a fast-paced, close-knit environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Development of comprehensive basis of schedule documents outlining schedule assumptions, construction sequencing, calendars, weather, resources, equipment, and critical path information
• Development of a detailed execution schedule(s) based on the scope of works.
• Drive planning meetings, understanding the interface and deliverables of package owners in the development process to validate the integrity of the plan, understand the key risk and opportunities.
• Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly reports both internal and externally.
• Review and monitor subcontractor and or supplier schedules.
• In conjunction with the Cost Controllers, align the schedule and cost via WBS.
• Develop and manage the earned value and progress measurement method, in accordance with Primero IBMS documentation.
• Monitor and update key dates and sequencing of the schedule.
• Development and management of schedules deliverables, including but not limited to resource histograms, equipment histograms, procurement plans, quantity curves, and bedding forecasts.
• Coordinate and maintain design and constructability reviews, and integration between disciplines and contractors in the design office and onsite.

What we’re looking for:

• Experienced operator of Primavera.
• Experience in the Construction and Engineering, particularly in the Resources and Mining industries.
• Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerBI.
• Strong statistical and analytical reporting skills.
• University degree preferred (engineering or similar discipline), but not essential.
• 7-10 years’ experience in project planning essential, with 2+ years in a senior role.
• Demonstrated understanding of Critical Path analysis and Extension of Time claims.
• Excellent communication skills.
