Sunshine Tiny Homes manufactures to the CSA Z-240, Z241, A277 Standards and Transport Canada regulations. Our mission is to undertake building up to three homes in sequential order at one time.

Position Overview: Construction coordinator/Lead carpenter
Reporting Relationships: Operations Manager/Owner
Expected hours of work: Standard hours are an 8-hour minimum Monday-Friday start time 8am.Hours may vary due to the nature of this position.At times you may be required to work outside of these hours to finish a project.
Expected Contract Rate:Negotiable, dependant upon demonstrated ability and previous experience. An option to increase earning potential with profit sharing can be negotiated.
Responsibilities
·Oversee the construction projects from conception to completion, with a hands-on approach
·Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
·Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory, ensuring cost efficiency and waste reduction
·Meet contractual conditions of performance
·Review the work progress daily/weekly/monthly
·Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
·Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
·Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
·Maintain shop cleanliness and organisation
·Waste reduction and environmental consciousnesses
Requirements
·Proven working experience in construction management, specializing in manufactured homes
·Advanced knowledge of construction process, means and methods
·Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards of the CSA Z240, CSA A277 and CSA Z241 standards
·Proficiency in software programs, emails, communication tools related to project coordination
·Ability to plan and see the big picture
·Competent in conflict and crisis management

` Working knowledge and experience of people management; budget management, and resource management
·Excellent time and project management skills
