Degree or similar qualifications in geography, environmental studies, environmental science, planning or related field.

1-3 years’ experience in completing Municipal, Provincial and Transit Environmental Assessments in Ontario.

Minimum of 10 years professional experience with substantial exposure to the mining sector.

Experience leading environmental assessments and other regulatory approvals processes for mining projects in Canada.

Demonstrated business development and client engagement experience.

Lead and aggressively grow our existing environmental consulting practice in the mining and metals space.

Knowledge and experience with relevant legislation and policy documents.

Minimum two years of relevant professional work experience.

Working closely and collaboratively with environmental planners, biologists, and GIS analysts to complete environmental assessments and natural heritage inventories.

Assisting in the preparation of scientific and technical environmental assessment documentation.

Ensuring clients project-related issues are resolved quickly and project deadlines are met.

Undertaking environmental impact assessment and identifying environmental protection, mitigation, and monitoring measures for infrastructure projects.

Develop and manage the earned value and progress measurement method, in accordance with Primero IBMS documentation.

7-10 years’ experience in project planning essential, with 2+ years in a senior role.

Experience in the Construction and Engineering, particularly in the Resources and Mining industries.
