Senior Marketing Manager, Foodservice

FGF Brands is searching for an experienced Sr. Manager, Foodservice Marketing to join our dynamic Foodservice Marketing team! We are looking for a team member with a strong understanding of Foodservice distribution and a passion for brand-building to lead the development and delivery of channel- and customer-specific strategies for our organization.

Primary Responsibilities

• Establish, build, and maintain strong cross-functional, internal, and external relationships
• Work directly with broader Marketing team and assist Sales to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Collaborate with sales counterparts on customer priorities and execute Marketing plans as a team
• Manage Foodservice Distributor product outreach, awareness and trial campaign programs and execution
• Key contributor to our overall Foodservice Marketing goals, representing the voice of the Foodservice customer and responsible for the development of tactics to ensure goal achievement
• Keep up-to-date on industry trends, dynamics, and insights
• Work with our Foodservice Marketing Specialist to develop targeted content and materials
• Collaborate with sales counterparts to own the Marketing relationship with key customers and build consumer centric programs that connect with customer objectives with brand objectives
• Collaborate with the sales team to compile a comprehensive annual calendar which includes all activation tactics; present that plan to leadership before devising and communicating execution plans
• Lead the development and delivery of channel- and customer-specific Marketing execution for Foodservice
• Specifically covering Distributors and Non-Commercial customers (including US Foods, Sysco, GFS, DOT, GPOs, Contract Management, etc.)
• Lead the relationship with our Foodservice agency partner, working to develop programs and materials with a strong ROI
• Tradeshow and event management

Required Skills And Experience

• Proven ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to execute Foodservice brand strategy in alignment with overall global brand positioning - ensuring consistency of brand voice, tailored to the foodservice channel
• Experience with digital and traditional communication channels and maximizing return on dollars invested within the Food Service channels
• 5-7 years of experience in Marketing Management / Brand Development (including own brand or private label) in the Foodservice industry, ideally with a food manufacturer
• A keen understanding and experience with Canadian and US distributor channels is critical (Sysco, US Foods, GFS, etc.)
• Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite a strong asset, but not required
• Occasional travel required to both Canada and the US markets (<15%)
• Ability to support the translation of the brand plan into an actionable tactics and to manage and be accountable for the execution of the brand plan to deliver the results committed to
