Currently seeking looking for a Sales Director for a leading provider of cutting-edge document solutions and managed print services in Canada. As we continue to expand their market presence, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales leader to drive business growth in the Greater Vancouver and surrounding regions of British Columbia.

The Opportunity

As the Sales Director you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic sales plans to meet revenue and profitability targets. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and motivate a team of sales representatives while fostering a positive and collaborative sales culture.


Position Description

You will be responsible for managing the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, as well as maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.


Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Set clear performance objectives and provide ongoing feedback to enhance team performance.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to foster skill development and product knowledge.


Business Development/Client Relationship Management:

  • Identify key market segments and develop targeted approaches to reach potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the customer support team to ensure timely resolution of client issues and concerns.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Understand clients’ evolving needs and propose tailored solutions to address their document and print-related challenges.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the client base and capture new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients by networking, attending industry events, and leveraging professional relationships.


Sales Process Management:

  • Forecast and track sales performance metrics and report on progress to the senior management team.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, pricing quotations, and contracts to potential clients.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation and qualification to deal closure and contract negotiation.


Qualifications


  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales management of document solutions, managed print services and/or print industry.
  • Analytical mindset with a strategic approach to sales planning and execution.
  • Strong understanding of printing and imaging technologies and their applications in different business environments.
  • Results-driven with a track record of consistently meeting or surpassing sales objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team, driving them to achieve and exceed sales targets.


Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing.
