Job Description

Our client has been a leading manufacturer of product charging and diagnostic devices for over 40 years. In response to electrification in products, they are developing a series of diagnostic devices. To promote these innovative products, they are seeking an experienced Sales Director to introduce their pioneering technologies.


They are looking for someone who is a self-starter with teambuilding ability and desire to bring innovative technologies to market. This is a career opportunity with ability for advancement in the company: You and your team will prospect potential users; study needs and propose a system to optimize the product while improving reliability.


Responsibilities:

  • Engaging in BD activities by working with product users and introducing new technologies.
  • Maintaining the company website as go-to beacon with ready-made products, OEMs, and innovation.
  • Studying competitive products in pricing, industrial demand, and market trend.
  • Ability to build an effective Sales team serving portable, automotive, and stationary products.
  • Assisting Product Management in the development of new products providing customer input.
  • Supporting distribution channels by contact, training and written monthly Newsletters.
  • Engaging in beta tests, organizing product launches, and running sales campaigns.
  • Selecting and attending conferences and delivering papers presenting pioneering technology.
  • Organizing promotional activities, creating marketing material, and setting sales objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Must possess strong conceptual understanding of product and the ability to create systems.
  • Must have sales experience and proven success in related sales fields.
  • Adaptable, mature, and flexible.
  • Must be a visionary to discover product opportunities and participate in new product designs.
  • Go-getter, hands on, happy to help.
  • Must have an intuitive engineering mind in knowing what buyers need and what is feasible.
  • Must be a learner who listens, accepts customer’s critique, and provides workable solutions.
