About You

As the Marketing Manager, you will harness your innovative and creative abilities paired with your extensive knowledge of marketing strategies to promote brand awareness and identify new business leads. You are energetic, enthusiastic and excited by the opportunity to help drive business growth using creative techniques and developing captivating content. As the Marketing Manager, you will get to dig your hands into an abundance of exciting projects - every day is a different adventure!

A Day in the Life

• Lead by example and inspire your team to show up, own their work, and have fun!
• Own all things marketing – from budget planning to social media management to website management! You’ll get to dive into a bit of everything in this role.
• Harness your versed understanding of M&P Mercury’s ideal customer profile to leverage personas, outreach activities, and messaging to our target audience.
• Own M&P Mercury’s marketing presence by executing live and virtual events and maintaining our social media channels.
• Lead M&P Mercury’s marketing team by equipping them with the tools and capabilities required to successfully generate inorganic leads.
• Identify business development opportunities alongside the sales team by tracking marketing metrics, lead generation, and lead acquisition.
• Establish and enhance M&P Mercury’s SEO and campaign results to refine marketing strategy.
• Act as point of contact for copying, internet services company, and external agencies.
• Optimize online and offline properties by designing, updating, and improving M&P Mercury’s website, landing pages, marketing materials, and swag.

What You Bring To The Table

• Ability to think creatively and innovatively – you love imagining what the next great campaign might be!
• Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels and their benefits relating to the industry.
• Preference for experience or background in luxury commodity marketing.
• Strong time management, accountability, and organizational skills – you're always on your A-game and can hold yourself to it!
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills that allow you to adapt to and tackle any hurdles that come your way.
• A positive attitude that inspires others on your team and makes them excited about working alongside you.

Your Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience owning your role as a Marketing Manager.
• Strong interpersonal skills - you’re a natural communicator and storyteller!
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent software and computer skills that allow you to navigate the website and social media management applications with ease.
• A diploma or bachelor's in marketing or a related field is an asset.

It's a Bonus If You Have

• Previous marine servicing, marine retails, or boating industry experience.
