THE POSITION


In support of a high-growth mandate, we’re hiring for a Senior Manager of Marketing Operations to join our dynamic team and help us make healthcare more accessible for Canadians. This is a newly created position focused on improving marketing efficiency and driving improved performance across our marketing team. With this opportunity, you’ll build a foundation for excellence by reinforcing marketing strategy with robust infrastructure, streamlined processes, reporting, and the development of best practices.


In This Position, You Will Be Responsible For


  • Overseeing end-to-end marketing operations, including campaign execution, lead management, marketing automation, and data governance.
  • Driving reporting and analysis of key campaign and team performance metrics, including tracking marketing's influence on company revenue.
  • Optimizing marketing workflows, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency, scalability, and data integrity.
  • Developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and dashboards to measure marketing effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
  • Collaborating closely with the Data and Analytics team to gather insights, perform data analysis, and leverage customer segmentation for targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Fostering alignment between marketing and sales, ensuring cohesive systems and processes that ultimately improve B2B performance.
  • Implementing and managing our marketing technology stack, ensuring seamless integration, optimal functionality, and alignment with business needs.

12 – 18 MONTH DELIVERABLES


Within The First 90 Days


  • Assess current reporting capabilities, data quality, and core team reports and determine how to improve the team’s use of data to drive our decision making process.
  • Update and create net new marketing dashboards and charts using Looker to highlight funnel performance by channel, medium, and other parameters.
  • Understand the products we are selling, our current marketing channels, our financial KPIs, and how you will drive them.
  • Establish strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders in business development, product, data, and other teams and have processes in place to work with them to drive shared success.
  • Assess current marketing tech stack and determine what changes should be made to improve team performance and operational efficiency.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our marketing tech stack, performance reporting, and core operational processes.


12 To 18 Months


  • Refine campaign execution processes and ensure alignment across the marketing team.
  • Develop a multi-touch attribution model to improve the accuracy of our acquisition and retention metrics.
  • Play a key role in the implementation of a marketing automation platform to enable our B2B strategy.
  • Build the Marketing Operations plan to improve overall operational efficiency, including performance reporting, attribution modeling, data visualization, forecasting, etc.


CANDIDATE PROFILE


  • A strong operator, the candidate has an in-depth understanding of marketing fundamentals, best practices, demand generation, lifecycle marketing, paid acquisition, growth, and associated analytics.
  • The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations or equivalent demonstrated experience gained in a fast-paced and high-growth SaaS and/or technology-driven organizations with digitally based operations.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector, and/or experience with a subscription business is considered an asset.
  • Expertise in working with marketing automation and customer engagement platforms at scale, leveraging data pipelines to drive scale, velocity, data accessibility, and experimentation. Salesforce experience is required.
  • The candidate has exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey ideas to senior management and navigate stakeholder relationships to gain buy-in and drive projects forward.
  • Collaborative by nature, the candidate has a proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams and directing multiple stakeholders to manage complex projects with shifting timelines and details.
  • The candidate possesses advanced data analysis skills with a proven track record of extracting meaningful insights from both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • As an influential leader, the ideal candidate has experience driving marketing operations for both B2C and B2B marketing teams, with a strong focus on results and utilizing performance assessment to guide decision-making, as well as demonstrated experience leading high-performing teams to execute large projects.
