Inventory Manager Jobs

The Opportunity:

ML6 is currently assisting our client based in Woodbridge, ON with the search for a Inventory Manager to join their team. This candidate would be responsible for participating in and executing inventory strategies across the plant to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery, while supporting & driving key business objectives. Responsible for ensuring organization has optimal levels of stock. Other duties will be assigned, as necessary.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Responsible for understanding and complying with all standards, controls, policies, procedures, and regulations to manage inventory strategies effectively and efficiently across the Company
• Ensure reporting of shipment discrepancies to the appropriate department based upon information provided by the receiving department
• Responsible in scheduling, executing, and participating in inventory counts as well as regular cyclical counts
• Handle escalations and work with the management team to reconcile variances.
• Collaborate with Production Procurement to ensure optimum inventory levels and all timelines are met to ensure all orders ship by promised dates
• Responsible for shipping and receiving team.
• Identify and track the inventory flow to identify slow moving and dead stock. As per Company Procedure, ensure the integrity of the stock management systems to guard against pilferage, theft, fraud, and other activities that adversely affect the organization’s operations.
• Responsible to prepare and ensure the accuracy of documentation relating to inventory
• Record the quality, quantity, type, style and any other characteristic of goods that the organization holds in inventory to give the rest of the management team a clear picture of what the organization has and what it needs
• Oversee and participate in physical inventory and reconciliation processes.
• Liaise with internal staff across all departments.
• Work with purchasing team to ensure resolution of receiving discrepancies and coordinate the reconciliation of discrepancies when required; Report defects as needed
• Compile and maintain inventory records from cycle counting and material usage reports
• Undertake all word processing and filing that is required; Produce and maintain all reports as required; Maintain any diaries that are in the office
