Job Description
We have the perfect opportunity for you if you are the type of person that likes to keep organized and work with inventory! We are looking for an Inventory Coordinator to join the Maintenance team at our client's established bakery located in Annacis Island, BC.!
This is a full-time temporary role, with a possible extension into the fall. You will make a great fit if you have a background in inventory control/coordination and receiving.
What you need to know:
  • You will be responsible for all duties associated with the receiving and documentation of Maintenance inventory items
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shifts: Morning; flexible start time between 7:00AM & 8:30 AM
Wage: $25.00 per hour
Location: Annacis Island, BC
Transit accessible
**Must be legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia**

Responsibilities
  • Receive stock and put into inventory and update counts
  • Help planner with locating parts for upcoming work
  • Track inventory re-order sticks
  • Cleaning and maintaining the stock room, keeping it in order and have a 5’s system in place for the room
  • Create sticks for inventory in stock room
  • Will perform any other duties as required by Engineering Supervisor/Manager
  • Inventory counts to ensure accuracy with what is on hand
Qualifications
  • You can meet the physical requirements; lifting up to 50 pounds
  • This facility is Covid-19 vaccine mandated, the ideal candidate will need to meet this requirement
  • You can meet schedule and shift requirements
  • You have steel toed shoes
  • You are legally entitled to work in British Columbia, Canada
  • Previous inventory coordination/control experience in warehousing
  • Repetitive motion required on a daily basis and may include bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, squatting, and lifting
