Blue Monkey Tropical Collection is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to
join their team in their downtown Vancouver office. The Company is seeking an individual with
1-2 year’s experience in administration and logistics, with exceptional customer service skills,
fluent in English, and strong attention to detail.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This exciting and impactful role is responsible for managing inventory and processing orders.
This position serves as the key contact between the Company and third party warehouses to
ensure delivery times are met.
TASKS, DUTIES, & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Efficiently and accurately process customer purchase orders.
● Evaluate and respond to customer inquiries in a prompt, courteous and effective manner.
● Monitor and ensure the progress of orders through the supply chain process to
completion.
● Manage inventory for order fulfillment in various warehouse locations.
● Report and track any overages, shortages, and damages.
● Arrange transportation pick up and deliveries where and when required with third party
carriers.
● Collaborate with third party dispatch teams to facilitate successful and efficient
deliveries.
● Possess efficient and effective organizational skills and time management.
● Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize duties effectively, follow through tasks
to completion and work with a high level of accuracy.
● Strong independent problem resolution skills.
● Work cross functionally and collaboratively in a fast paced office environment
● Provide a strong customer service orientation with a strong level of customer service.
● Proactively communicate with customers and suppliers to prevent logistical issues.
● Maintain organization of orders and outstanding POs.
● Learn and abide by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
● Perform other assigned administrative responsibilities as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Technical Skills and/or Previous Experience
● Bachelor's Degree required OR an Associates Degree, plus 1-2+ years of work
experience in Logistics or Supply Chain.
● Strong data entry, typing 50 WPM, and excellent telephone skills.
● Knowledgeable and interest in the food and beverage and/or consumer products goods
industry.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
● Proficient in Google Sheets and command of Google Suite.
● Ability to independently manage more than one project at the same time and work in a
fast-paced, dynamic environment.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Strong ability to prioritize based on the needs of the business and have the ability to
manage time efficiently.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
● In-Office, Full Time Position, Monday through Friday.
COMPENSATION
● Starting salary negotiable based on experience.
● Additional Health Benefit compensation.
● 1 st YR- 10 days of prorated vacation time plus BC holidays.
