Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator

Location: (Valley) Mt Lehman Rd & Automall Dr, Abbotsford

Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-530pm

About The Role

The Warehouse Coordinator will manage our inventory and warehouse processes and controls in our DC. You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and will be responsible for receiving food items, identifying and resolving quality issues, and monitoring inventory levels while working side by side with the Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance Team.

What you will be doing:

• Ensure daily and accurate information flow in receiving system & paperwork
• Communicate with Production & Warehouse supervisors to ensure all orders are filled out properly and accurately
• Other duties as assigned
• Maintain daily forklift and material handling equipment checks
• Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
• Conduct cycle counts and reconcile any discrepancies in inventory data
• Use forklift in a safe manner in compliance with Company Health and Safety Policy
• Tracking, developing and maintaining processes for ensuring accurate inventory management
• Support warehouse projects, system implementations and process improvements.
• Receive all incoming ingredients accurately; immediately report damages and quality issues.
• Conduct case counts and quality sorting of received ingredients
• Work in compliance with OH&S acts and regulations.
• Use personal protective and safety equipment and clothing as directed by the employer and report workplace hazards and dangers to the supervisor or employer.
• Learn company software and databases in order to execute receiving/inventory process & documentation.
• Collaborate with different stakeholders to work on different projects

At a minimum, you have:

• 0-2 years of experience coordinating production in a fulfillment/distribution center; preferably within the Food & Beverage industry.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and Excel skills.
• Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Calendar, Gmail, Docs, Sheets), and video conferencing (Hangouts Meet).
• Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments, able to prioritize and meet budgets deadlines and achieve objectives.
• Proactive, ambitious, and assertive: you think beyond the scope of a given assignment.
• Bachelor's degree or related management work experience.
• An effective collaborator, who empowers and enables others to share ideas, raises awareness, gets buy-in, and delivers fast and well-rounded solutions to complex problems.
• Energy, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude. Used to working in a high pressure, fast paced, and constantly changing environment.
• Innovative: Think of creative and efficient solutions to problems others may take for granted
