Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving, storing, processing and dispatching cargo, so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain process. Our integrated solutions allow us to be prepared for supply chain risks, so we can plan distribution to better achieve lead time and goals despite unexpected conditions. Our extensive experience, connections, and deep expertise across different sectors, industries, and transportation modes, means we can be counted on for process excellence that will save time and money.


Essential Responsibilities

· Daily inventory cycles, cycle counts; reconciliation of counts

· Reconcile the returns of mis-shipped freight or customer refusals

· Identifying and reconciling inventory discrepancies in a timely manner

· Maintaining inventory reports and logs as needed, including: Comparison Report and Metric Reports

· Back-up Quality Assurance Analyst functions and reporting as needed

· Coordinate the recoup or repack of damaged inventory

· Checking freight for accurate paperwork as requested

· Reconciliation of overages, shortages and damages

· Apprising Supervisor and Customer Service Manager of any non-compliant freight

· Verifying all freight pulls, transfers, movement of freight and orders

· Assist CSR and other staff as needed

· Cross train in other areas of the team

· Special Projects as assigned

· Performs job related duties as specified by management


Education and Skills

· College Degree Preferred

· Self-starter attitude

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Analytical and organized, ability to focus on details and compare data

· Ability to work independently

· Must possess excellent time management skills to manage high volume in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to perform well with time-sensitive tasks

· Industry experience preferred; not required

· Proficient in Microsoft applications (i.e. WinWord and Excel)
