We Are Currently Hiring For The Position Of
COORDINATOR, GROUND TRANSPORTATION (EVENTS)
Reporting to the Manager, Ground Transportation, the Coordinator, Ground Transportation (Events) will facilitate the successful pick-up and drop-off of Festival guests through the planning and execution of ground transportation itineraries. This position will indirectly supervise volunteers, Airport Greeter Supervisors, and Festival Drivers.
Responsibilities
Utilize database to record and obtain information about guest itineraries and requirements for ground transportation
Ensure that all guest ground transportation information is accurately captured in the database
Liaise with TIFF departments to obtain and confirm guest requirements for ground transportation
Liaise with industry stakeholders as needed
Assist with communicating schedule and airport shifts to Airport Greeter Supervisors, Festival Drivers, and volunteers
Assist with scheduling drivers and coordinating VIP and non-standard ground transportation
Assist with scheduling transportation with airport limo/taxi service
Maintain and distribute daily schedules to airport partners
Track and accommodate last minute or unscheduled transfers of guests
Assist with team training and site visits to airports
Support Manager, Ground Transportation with projects and deliverables
Contribute to daily Festival reports and provide a detailed post-mortem report
Execute the highest service standards, policies, and procedures for TIFF
Other duties as assigned
Rate Of Pay
$24.00 /Hourly
WORK LOCATION:
Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5
Weekly In Office Requirements
Minimum 2 days (November to May)
Minimum 3 days (June to October)
August 14, 2023-September 22, 2023
Minimum Requirements
Previous experience with live events and/or festivals
Previous experience in ground transportation, travel, and/or hospitality is an asset
Exceptional and demonstrated background in customer service
Holds a G class license, preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google, and CRM programs
Excellent organizational skills with extreme attention to detail and numerical aptitude
Ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure and facing deadlines
Understanding and commitment to superior client servicing
Fluency in multiple languages considered an asset
Knowledge of traffic routes, local roads, hotels, and airports is an asset
Working in an office environment and on a computer for several hours pre-Festival; mix of office and onsite environment as required during Festival
Working with deadlines and under pressure
Driving a personal or rented vehicle, as needed
Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
