Kelly Services has partnered with a Non-Profit organization located in Vancouver, British Columbia to recruit a Program Coordinator for a temporary- permanent position. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a dynamic, socially conscious, fast-paced environment. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30- 4:30 pm (some room for flexibility)
Pay Rate – $25.00/hr.
Duration: 6 months (minimum)
Location: Vancouver, BC
Please note; this is a contract position, but with exceptional work performance this company intends to hire the right candidate as a fulltime employee.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide weekly reports on skilling program progress, including registration and attendance updates.
- Assist in communicating with program students.
- Coordinate with training providers for scheduled training sessions.
- Promote the intern program to train graduates and providers.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Monitor program intake and promote the program as necessary to achieve goals.
- Manage participant surveys.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as directed.
- Assist in communicating with program participants and applicants.
- Provide weekly reports on internship recruitment progress and available roles.
- Review intern applications and ensure accuracy in the database.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication skills while maintaining a calm, sensitive, and professional demeanor
- Exceptional organization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong computer skills using MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of google drive an asset
- Technically savvy and interested in technology
- Excellent problem-solving and judgment ability
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/deadlines successfully and to work competently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Minimum 3 years of Administrative Assistant experience
