Job Summary:


Reporting directly to the Director, Strategic Partnerships, will oversee, develop and manage partnerships for Toronto School of Management (TSOM) including a partnership liaison with Niagara College Canada. The position will oversee and manage the execution of collaborative projects between a public college and TSOM. The manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of partnerships that support the goals, enhance its capabilities, and create mutually beneficial relationships with other institutions. The primary focus will be to lead cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, and foster effective communication between all stakeholders involved.


In the vacancy of the Director, the candidate will report directly to the Chief Partnership Officer.


Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment, and strong work ethic to the Partnerships team.
  • Support the department with operations, problem solving and/or implementing further enhancements.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and presentations to update stakeholders on project progress and gather feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging effective communication, knowledge sharing, and problem-solving.
  • Coordinate and delegate tasks, monitor team performance, and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Assist with monthly activity reports as well as ad-hoc data tracking reports.
  • Develop proposals and support execution for new projects and partnerships, such as pathway opportunities for TSOM (both domestic and international).
  • Responsible for maintaining TSOM’s Public College Private partnership:
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between all parties involved in the partnership.
  • Manage TSOM Pathway Department operations and Pathway team staff:
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Further enhance operational processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams at TSOM and NCC.


Position Requirements


Education and Experience:


  • Proven experience as a manager, including the ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast- paced environment; preferably in a public-private partnership or higher education environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, project management, education).
Knowledge and Skills:


  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with a variety of individuals and departments.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements related to public college -private partnerships would be an asset.
  • Familiarity with public college systems and processes is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Ontario college education sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities.
