Job Description
Nomad (https://getnomad.app/) is disrupting the B2C travel space - our mission is to bring back authenticity, inspiration and fun into all aspects of travel, whether it be trip planning, trip inspiration, or travel logistics. We want to remove the fatigue and complexity from the whole process, and inspire travelers with places they didn’t even know they wanted to visit. We’ve started with addressing connectivity issues through our eSIM offering but are working on much more. You’ll get to be a core member of a small, passionate team working towards the next big thing in travel!

Summary


Partnership Manager will help drive the next stage of Nomad’s growth via global partnerships.


In this role you will be a core member of the Nomad Growth team and have a hand in shaping Nomad’s young brand in the travel space. We expect that you care deeply about the quality of your work, the intrinsic worth of tasks, and the success of the team. You are self-disciplined and do not require micromanagement, both in terms of your skillset and work ethic.


You are able to manage multiple projects, have an analytical mind, pay keen attention to detail, and love to get your hands dirty. As the global partnerships lead, you will lead Nomad’s partnership efforts across our two key Partnerships streams - Travel Partnerships and Affiliate Partnerships.


Responsibilities


  • Develop a crisp partner value proposition and compelling marketing materials.
  • Track performance and report on outcomes of travel partnerships post-launch.
  • Build a pipeline of travel partnership opportunities.
  • Create a partnership strategy and go to market plan that includes the following sectors– airlines, hotels, travel booking sites, travel agencies, cruise lines, attractions, and corporate expense management services.
  • Execute and track program deliverables, milestones, action items, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans
  • Structure and negotiate deals with individual travel partners that drive awareness, user growth and revenue for the Nomad brand.
  • Create standard partnership deal templates and agreements with input from Nomad management and legal teams.
  • Raise awareness for the Nomad brand within designated travel sectors.
  • Agree on partnership KPIs and milestones with Nomad management for 3, 6 and 12 months.


Requirements


  • Excellent organizational skills (planning, goal setting, attention to detail).
  • Strong business analytical skills with a data-driven mindset to managing metrics
  • Experience working in travel, leisure, hospitality companies is a plus.
  • Able to work in a remote, global team.
  • Partner-first mentality and a passion to help your stakeholders succeed while creating win-win relationships
  • Track record of closing win-win partnership deals with concrete results.
  • Excellent spoken English - able to engage, persuade and close partnerships.
  • Able to take ownership of initiatives and execute on ideas quickly, especially in environments where there are no “right answers”; love working in a startup environment and building things from 0 to 1.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
  • 5 years of experience in partnerships within the travel sector
