Travel Industry Marketing Director Jobs

Key player in the go-to-market (G2M) planning, marketing strategy, outbound messaging and launches of our vertical offerings

Manage all industry content, including industry sections of the website (evaluating page performance and conversion)

Hands-on experience in one or more areas: sales enablement, market analysis, G2M planning, digital marketing and promotions

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or equivalent experience in marketing

Very strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting in front of an audience

Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)

Experience with marketing automation, CRM, lead management, and Account-Based Marketing (ABM)

Previous experience as a product or industry marketing manager in a B2B technology environment

6+ years of B2B software or hardware marketing experience

2+ years experience leading a team of marketers, comfortable motivating and coaching people

Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing, or equivalent experience

Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting in front of a large audience in-person or online

Agree on partnership KPIs and milestones with Nomad management for 3, 6 and 12 months.

Create standard partnership deal templates and agreements with input from Nomad management and legal teams.

5 years of experience in partnerships within the travel sector

Experience working in travel, leisure, hospitality companies is a plus.

Excellent organizational skills (planning, goal setting, attention to detail).

Strong business analytical skills with a data-driven mindset to managing metrics

Excellent communication and time management skills

BDM experience within Travel Industry

Prior consultative and solution-based sales experience

Strong prospecting, presentation and closing skills

Strategic, goal-oriented, analytic, relationship builder

Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel. Word, Teams, Sharepoint)

Proficient in developing ongoing, strategic campaigns for Social Media channels; inclusive of social listening for brand reputation and crisis management.

Travel industry experience is an asset. Tico certification or willingness to obtain.

Strong presentation and pitch deck development skills.

Strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure compliance with advertising regulations.

2+ years experience in a Marketing related discipline. Travel industry experience is a plus.

Advanced technology skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Undergraduate university degree (Bachelor or Honors Bachelor) in Business Management or a related field

10 - 12 years of related experience in retail, foodservice, healthcare, pharma or a related sector

Demonstrated influencing skills and achievements that will effectively gain the confidence and support of internal and external stakeholders

Develop a deep understanding of relevant business processes and priorities within subscriber ways of working

Identify pain points and opportunities, providing best practice recommendations that drive value through enhanced effectiveness, efficiency and/or cost savings

Communicate any barriers due to GS1 Canada limitations internally

- At least 5 years’ experience in a marketing position and 2-3 years of team management experience
