Your Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will ensure compliance with work jointly with the Integrated Planning team and Production Leadership to participate in and support:

• Eliminate bottlenecks (both internal and external).
• Provide schedules showing order sequence.
• Support the implementation of lean methods and inventory visualization systems.
• Monitor deliveries (manufacturing and suppliers).
• Support inventory and cost reduction activities.
• Ensure material availability (date/ quantity).
• Sustain a strong communication structure with production and customer sales.
• Maintain departmental records and files
• Level weekly order sequence planning on a daily basis.
• Run MRP to determine demand. Ensure MRP master data is maintained.
• Manage inventory levels to meet or exceed budget
• Manage order quantities and scheduling to meet demand and capacity (DCC).

Your Qualifications

• Keen interest in supply chain management, logistics, purchasing/procurement, resource planning and control, inventory management, warehousing and distribution, operations management and systems implementation
• Flexible with working hours in line with plant shift schedules (days, afternoons, nights)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP, ERP software), basic understanding of business administration and multi-task oriented.
• Currently Enrolled in Supply Chain and Operations Management program
• APICS Certification or working towards
• The incumbent must have strong planning, organizing and presentation skills
