Responsibilities
  • Verify with the shipper and consignee the opening hours and information given by the payer before dispatching the trip;
  • Respond to customer requests for quotations for various merchandise deliveries.
  • Provide customers with information and advice on the various services offered by the Logistics Division.
  • Perform all other related tasks.
  • Verify with shipper and consignee various information to anticipate problems en route.
  • Identify customer needs and meet their expectations and/or suggest a solution, if necessary, using appropriate and effective communication techniques.
  • Follow-up and update partner files in the system;
  • Coordinate travel with partners to meet customer requirements;
Qualifications
  • Good speed of execution and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position in the transportation industry
  • Knowledge of AS400, Loadlink and DispatchMate is considered an asset
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Bilingualism is necessary (French & English)
  • Good stress and priority management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
