Job Posting: Logistics Coordinator & Planner

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels in 3 warehouses to ensure adequate stock levels and timely replenishment. Implement efficient inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory (Dealer + Ecom account send-outs, daily SFTP updates Wayfair, Houzz, Bemmadesign.com, CommerceHub; Lowe’s USA & Home Depot)

2.Outbound Shipping: Coordinate daily outbound shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and timely dispatch to customers.

3.Shipping Documentation: Prepare Bill of Lading (BOL), Commercial invoices, and other necessary shipping and customs documents to comply with regulations.

4.Carrier Negotiations: Engage in negotiations with various carriers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers to secure competitive shipping rates and service agreements.

5.Overseas Import: Manage the import process for overseas shipments, including coordinating with international suppliers, customs brokers, and coordinating delivery schedules with warehouses.

6.Supply Chain Efficiency: Continuously assess and identify areas for improvement within the supply chain. Implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce transportation costs, and optimize processes.

7.Data Analysis: Utilize logistics and inventory data to generate reports, analyze trends, and make informed decisions to improve supply chain performance.

8.Forecast planning for new purchase order submissions, responsible as well to input and submit purchase orders to the factory.

9.Incidents and Claims: Maintain a Claim and Incident Tracker for all incidents associated with ECOM and Showroom orders and generate reports to analyze and minimize the incidents/damages in transit.

§Hours 9:00-5:00 Mon-Fri. (possibility to work hybrid as position allows)

§Salary (Annual); To be discussed, appx 54k-58k (dependent on experience)

§3 weeks paid vacation (1 week to be taken at Christmas Holiday) Vacation time is accrued.
