Minimum 3-5 years related CSR/shipping experience

Coordinating and preparing shipping documents, utilizing company ERP system.

Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pick up of goods

Provide tracking and delivery information

Negotiate pricing with external freight forwarders

Communicate specific freight requirements and procedures to drivers and ensure customers are well informed.

Previous experience in the logistic/supply chain industry is an asset

Communicating with customers and responding to their queries (via phone, email or fax) in a professional and timely manner.

Should have worked on Fleet Manager, DAT, Load Link, Open Load Boards

2+ years of trucking industry and/or dispatch experience is an asset

Data entry and analytics of KPI’s

1-2 years field drilling or oilfield experience

Firm knowledge of customs regulations and required documentation both import/export

Confident knowledge of rules and regulations for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Non-Hazardous and Hazardous material shipping

Coordinate and review purchase orders and accompanying documents from customer service, confirm inventory is sufficient to meet customers’ request.

Create and schedule deliveries pick slips for shipping department in SAP.

Schedule and track incoming dry goods, coordinate with carriers and suppliers to ensure on-time in full delivery and supply for operations.

Secure lowest cost/best service freight and ensure invoicing accuracy and completeness.

College Diploma or certification in procurement is preferred

Intermediate to advanced computer processing skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Experience with SAP is an asset
