Logistics Coordinator Jobs

We are currently working with a Food and Manufacturing company that is looking for a Logistics Coordinator role. This position will be responsible to coordinate the shipments of various case goods to domestic and export markets from Alberta Distillers and external contract packing locations as well as assist with the import of various products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute shipping and customs documentations (CCI’s) - Trace, reconcile and report discrepancies.
• Coordinate and review purchase orders and accompanying documents from customer service, confirm inventory is sufficient to meet customers’ request.
• Create and schedule deliveries pick slips for shipping department in SAP.
• Schedule and track incoming dry goods, coordinate with carriers and suppliers to ensure on-time in full delivery and supply for operations.
• Coordinate Marketing On-Pack requisitions with Beam Global Canada Sales and Marketing team, Reps and Liquor boards along with Packaging Planner Supervisor.
• Secure lowest cost/best service freight and ensure invoicing accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications

• Firm knowledge of customs regulations and required documentation both import/export
• Great understanding of SAP
• 2-5 years Logistics experience
• Confident knowledge of rules and regulations for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Non-Hazardous and Hazardous material shipping
