Job Description
Talentworld is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our client. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and verifying all necessary logistics requirements for inbound and outbound freight and in charge of facilitating the flow of materials from its supply to delivery using our fleet of trucks as well as 3rd party carriers.
TalentWorld is recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator.
  • Manage customer accounts and act as a day do day liaison for the clients
  • Dispatch freights and contacts carrier representatives
  • Prepare and maintain online bookings and schedules for ocean freight, CCIC applications and within the company
  • Record/log -customs information for inbound logistics and C-TPAT seal designations
  • Communicate any customer dissatisfaction or potential quality issues
  • Perform new account set up in systems
Logistics Coordinator Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of logistics experience, working in manufacturing
  • 12 month maternity leave
  • Onsite
  • $50,000 - $57,000
  • Proficiency with MS Office Application
  • Knowledge of Ocean Container Logistics, Rules, Regulations, and INCOTERMS
  • Demonstrated Customer Service Skills
  • Knowledge of International Traffic and Logistics (including CTPAT regulations, PIP Programs, Environmental Compliance in Transportation, and customs requirements
  • Full time, Day Shift
  • Post-secondary education in economics, trade, transportation, or supply chain management is preferred
  • Knowledge of scrap metal material, processing and packaging an asset
