We’re looking for our next Digital Channel Manager. Could It Be You?

Deliver a great customer experience on Questrade.com, with the objective of driving business growth through lead and customer acquisition for our Banking line of business. Lead the development and prioritization of the Questrade.com Banking digital strategy and roadmap based on business objectives and customer needs, and informed by analytical insights, KPIs and market trends.


You will be working closely with the agile development team and other leads (Designers, Digital, Marketing, Product and Customer Experience), this role will be responsible for the successful launch and ongoing optimization of Banking on Questrade.com.


What’s it like working as a Digital Channel Manager at Questrade?

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, prioritization, execution, and continued evolution of the Banking line of business on Questrade.com, with the objective of driving growth through lead and customer acquisition. Part of this task involves backlog refinement and building project plans, stakeholder management and ensuring that project milestones/releases are met.


You will have an understanding of the agile process and methodologies to deliver on the committed scope as part of the Questrade.com Banking roadmap.


Representing both our customers and the business, you will have an understanding of complex business, technical and customer problems to define and drive continuous improvement of the Banking offering and user experience on Questrade.com, and advocate in the prioritization of Questrade.com features required to meet Questrade’s mission and strategic goals.

Strategy & Roadmap

  • Guard and champion an exceptional customer experience across stakeholder teams within the Questrade.com product portfolio
  • Lead intake, discovery and business requirements gathering to define solutions and scope on Questrade.com
  • Continually drives digital product development towards a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives, resource utilization, and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve an integrated customer experience, balancing the needs of the business with the needs of our customers.
  • Responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative digital marketing initiatives and capabilities on Questrade.com
  • Lead the go-to-market Questrade.com roadmap as part of the broader launch streams.
  • Effectively manage relationships across internal and external teams / partners.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Banking on Questrade.com, including strategy development, roadmap development and prioritization, implementation, and ongoing optimization with the objective of driving growth through lead and customer acquisition.
  • As the Subject Matter Expert, consult on Questrade.com scope and requirements to deliver a seamless enterprise experience that aligns with our mission and strategic goals


Continuous Improvement

  • Share results clearly and frequently across teams to apply learnings to the fullest.
  • Lead the optimization roadmap for continuous improvement of the Banking customer journey, acquisition and conversion on Questrade.com
  • Work closely with analytics leads to prioritize testing opportunities and inform product enhancements (features, functionality, experiences).
  • Support in the development of the Questrade.com Banking measurement plan to track, report and act on performance insights
  • Champion an optimization testing culture that embraces continuous digital optimization with a customer-first focus.


Execution

  • Collaborate with other Product Owners or technical partners within the Technology organization on dependencies to deliver on committed scope
  • Assist QA and end-users with verifying application functionality and adherence to requirements
  • Identify opportunities for standardization of features across projects to enhance delivery efficiencies.
  • Oversee the development and launch of Banking on Questrade.com within an agile environment, including quarterly planning, sprint planning, refinement and reviews.
  • Support and provide guidance to designers and engineers in the completion of project initiatives
  • Create, manage and prioritize product backlog tasks based on business priority, timelines and capacity.
  • Identify resource/skills requirements, team capacity and risks to deliver on committed scope
  • Analyze existing processes for possible improvements.
  • Inspect, evaluate and communicate project progress through each iteration.
  • Break down business requirements and translate them into user stories for the development team.

✔ Relevant experience working in an agile environment

✔ Understanding of agile methodologies, industry standards and best practices

✔ Understanding and/or relevant experience in digital marketing project management and driving digital strategy through to execution

✔ Proven experience in improving conversion performance, increasing engagement, and enhancing user experience with a lead and customer acquisition focus

✔ Strong analytical capability to interpret data into actionable recommendations

✔ Proven ability to effectively manage and prioritize the needs of multiple stakeholders

✔ Skilled at presenting ideas with the ability to articulate strategic decisions to a variety of audiences

✔ Strong relationship building skills with the ability to work well at all levels of an organization and interact confidently with senior management

✔ Exceptional time management skills and ability to efficiently multitask in a fast-paced environment

✔ High level of self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to work independently.

✔ Previous experience in financial services

✔ Experience in web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) and/or optimization tools (Google Optimize, Optimizely etc.)

✔ Working knowledge of front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to fluidly converse with designers, developers and UX partners
