Marketing Manager Job brief
I’m looking for a flexible and versatile marketer who will be responsible for the growth of our inbound sales channels across my multiple brands: The Eczema Company, YoRo Naturals and Itchy Little World. You will be my right-hand partner as we grow the brands together.
Marketing manager responsibilities include managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with web analytics tools and be able to turn creative ideas into effective, measurable marketing plans.
Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and marketing channels.
The position is for 20 hours per week for the first three months on a contract-to-hire trial basis. If it's the right fit for both of us, then we can discuss 20-30 hours per week initially with the potential of full-time in the first year.
Virtual-based with occasional in person meetups.
Responsibilities include:
·Develop digital strategies and tactics to boost the company’s reputation and drive qualified traffic.
·Deploy successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution, including setting and monitoring goals.
·Experiment with various organic and retention-based acquisition channels and funnels.
·Monetization of blog content via affiliate marketing and brand collaborations.
·Create and manage the content plan to include keyword research and editing content.
·Manage the process for creating and discontinuing products in multiple marketplaces.
·Create new product copy and optimize existing copy for conversions.
·Identify and implement areas for product marketing improvements.
·Research new products to source or create.
·Manage marketing contractors and evaluate their ROI.
·Create compelling imagery for marketing and advertising initiatives.
·Connect with retailers to grow our wholesale program.
·Represent our various brands at tradeshows.
·Manage the process of becoming B Corp certified.
Requirements
·Self-starter with little supervision. Must be able to take a project and run with it.
·E-commerce experience and a passion for sustainability.
·Health and beauty niche experience.
·Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across-channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
·Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.)
·Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
·Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
