Job Description
Are you a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager that will contribute to making the Nivea brand flourish and grow? This position is based in Montreal and has a national scope, it reports to the Marketing Director and manages a great team of passionate Nivea Brand Managers. We are a global brand with top market share positions and appreciate the challenge of having a localised marketing approach.
Note that this is a temporary maternity leave replacement of an approximate duration of 1 to 1.2 years.
Your Responsibilities
If you are looking to…
  • Drive growth initiatives, profit opportunities and required actions through taking lead role in developing and analyzing facts and trends of the product category, competitive products, and consumer usage & attitudes with market research, sales, global brand team and agencies
  • Develop and manage agency relationships (media, creative, PR) from briefings to execution to measurement. Lead point of contact for all market research projects
  • Accountable for building and driving success across category platforms & special projects including, social media, influencers & CRM
  • Develop NIVEA brand strategy & support SBM/BM in building category plans including: new product launches, advertising, consumer promotion, packaging & pricing that lead to the achievement of business goals and objectives
  • Lead & develop the Annual Planning Process across a complex portfolio which includes financial & business analysis, consumer planning, leading agency partners and P&L development including sales and profit objectives; ensure brand budgets including advertising & promotional expenditures are accurate and appropriate
Your Profile
  • Results orientation and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively including preparing and delivering quality presentations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence the decision-making process while balancing strategic and financial factors and prioritie
  • Strong understanding and experience with Market Research, category, and consumer dynamics
  • Superior knowledge of all fundamental marketing concepts including the digital/ social environment as well as shopper and retailer-based marketing
  • Demonstrated facility with AC Nielsen consumption database
  • People management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong business relationship among many and varied cross functional groups
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels both within and outside the organization with the ability to manage market research and agency partners
  • University business degree with 5-10 years of CPG marketing experience
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen
