Financial Analyst 4 Days Remote

I am recruiting a financial analyst for my client on the South Shore for a period of 18 months with a good possibility of permanence. Under the supervision of the Head of Financial Services at Retail Accounting Branches of the Group the incumbent produces the monthly financial statements and prepares the annual records for external audit purposes, for branches using the accounting services offered by the Group. RESPONSIBILITIES  Analysis of General Ledger accounts.  Matches income and expenses.  Records adjustment entries to the system.  Charges expense or fixed asset invoices.  Prepare monthly tax returns.  Prepare and analyze financial statements.  Prepare semi-annual and audit files at the end of each fiscal year.  Prepare financial analyzes on gross profit and financial statements.  Prepare annual budgets.  Corresponds and follows up with the office clerk and the franchisee in branch.  Performs any special projects requested by the Head of Branch Financial Services  Performs quality control on semi-annual and year-end files prepared by financial analysts. REQUIREMENTS  Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or a college diploma in accounting with equivalent experience.  Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar position.  Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).  Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX accounting software.  Demonstrate a developed sense of organization and planning.  Demonstrate initiative, autonomy and resourcefulness.  Demonstrate good team spirit.  Be able to handle several files at the same time, within tight deadlines.  Possess functional English.
