Financial Analyst Jobs

Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for assembling spreadsheets and drawing charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports. This candidate will analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions. The successful candidate will present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations and entire industries.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with Additional Testing and or Reviewing where required
• Testing Results Flash – summarize testing results
• Monthly Reconciliation Report Card – running the report and reviewing the Tester Notes and Recommendations
• Assist with ad hoc requests - for advisory reviews outside of the regular testing cycle
• Final Results Deck – update tables and commentary and understand the key themes found during the testing cycle
• Re-review previously tested Priority High Fails - to ensure that the remediation plan was followed through.

Desired Skill Set:

• Detail oriented, and analytical with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• 6 years of hands-on experience with Advanced Excel – able to pull data and perform analysis
• BA in Finance/ Accounting
• 6 years of proven experience as a Finance Analyst
• Experience in analysis and reporting
• 6 years of proficiency in preparing PowerPoint presentation decks
• 6 years of solid experience working in Reconciliations with P & S, reconciliations, and researching fails

Nice To Have:

• Previous banking experience or experience in a financial institution
• Internal/External Audit background with a very strong demonstrated understanding of internal controls
