The incumbent will be responsible for supporting various modules of the Bank's accounting system (Masterpiece-Infor) as well as reporting activities in financial information applications (Oracle-Essbase). He/she may also be required to contribute to the financial systems modernisation project during its implementation phase.
Responsibilities
ºPrepare reports and extract data from the accounting system on a recurring basis or upon request
ºRun applications supporting preparation of management information and update as needed.
ºAnalyze requests received and impact of projects on the processes that he/she supervises, as well as recommend and implement appropriate solutions.
ºPerform administration and maintenance tasks with the IT department or external suppliers, as required.
ºDevelop and maintain expertise in the tools, business processes, reports and data structure connected to the Finance department's information systems to support growth.
ºRecommend ways to improve and automate the processes and systems that he/she supervises and support implementation.
ºPerform all tasks of similar or general nature requested by his/her superior or required for the job.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (administration, finance, accounting, computer science)
Six years of relevant experience
Experience with accounting and financial management tools
Knowledge of financial processes and accounting closure
Very comfortable with multi-platform IT tools (mainframe, application cube, web server, database)
Comfortable with the use of different programming languages
Bilingual* (English, French)

• Qualifications

Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages.
