Assist strategic financial analysis and presentations for the Senior Management Team and external stakeholders such as investors, lenders, and research analysts.

3-5 years of experience in a financial analysis role.

Experience of building and maintaining complex financial models in Excel, ideally corporate 3-statement models with supporting schedules.

Solid foundation in financial accounting and knowledge of IFRS.

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex logic-based formulas.

Maintain the corporate financial model and rolling cash & liquidity forecast.

Participate in portfolio management and deal sourcing.

PhD in Life Sciences, Pharm D, or MD degree

Support Finchely’s Investment Committee and internal operations

Expert knowledge in Oracle EPM modules or other large scale Performance Management or Consolidation systems.

Strong project management and team skills, including the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Computer Science with 5+ years of FP&A or financial systems experience

Troubleshoot system-based anomalies as they arise and manage resolution of issues.

Strong analytical skills to validate and challenge information by various sources

Strong skills related to execution and implementation of process changes

Collaborate with the Senior Financial Analyst in month/quarter/year-end finance and accounting processes

6 years of proven experience as a Finance Analyst

6 years of solid experience working in Reconciliations with P & S, reconciliations, and researching fails

6 years of hands-on experience with Advanced Excel – able to pull data and perform analysis

Experience in analysis and reporting

Detail oriented, and analytical with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Previous banking experience or experience in a financial institution

Prepare reports and analysis at month and quarter end to communicate financial results to the Director, Strategic Finance and business leadership

Capture and monitor risks, as well as opportunities across the business in partnership with other finance and corporate functions

Support the Strategic Finance team with board and business review presentations

Maintain a process improvement mindset supporting the evolution of Strategic Finance

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or Finance (CPA, MBA, or CFA would be an asset)

Prepare and present reports and dashboards on utilizations and costs to internal stakeholders, such as senior management, underwriting, and actuarial teams

The position requires 3-5 years’ experience with very strong conceptual math skills, especially related to rate-based calculations.

Models complex rate amortization schedules of NIM-level expenses using inputs from the business and the Senior Manager, FP&A.

Strong financial acumen, along with MS Excel and data manipulation experience.

Strong knowledge of accounting/finance processes including month-end close, variance analysis, and reconciliations.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in AR and/or accounting roles.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Previous experience preparing or reviewing financial statements Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience required.

Experience with real estate, especially multi-residential and development

Strong Excel modelling skills, ability to construct professional PowerPoint presentations.

Salary: 75-85K + Annual Bonus plus other benefits

Hunt and identify activity related to threat actor groups and their techniques, tools, and processes in the client’s environments

Develop and maintain threat hunting playbooks and procedures.

In collaboration with Continuous testing team, validate what is detected or prevented.

Collaborate to improve the effectiveness of the current controls and defences in place.

Participate with clients to set rules of engagement, timelines, and expectations.

Post-secondary accounting education or related work experience.

Financial systems experience an asset, and requires advanced Excel skills

Strong financial accounting background with experience in preparation of working papers an asset.
