Senior Financial Analyst - Fp&A

Alquemy's client is a leading organization in the geointelligence space. They are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their FP&A team. This is an initial 6-9 month contract term with the potential to extend longer term.

Our client works in a hybrid model and candidates are expected to be on site in Montreal 3 days a week.

The Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning will assist in the preparation and consolidation of timely and accurate monthly forecasts and budgets for the Montreal team, as well as ongoing financial performance monitoring and evaluations.

Main duties:

Supports the preparation of monthly P&L and forecast, monthly governance reports, monthly overhead reports and quarterly forecasts for overhead Responsible of Government grants claims Report on yearly budget for Programs, Cash flow, OH and SR&ED

Revenue Recognition documentation, including preparation, Corporate approvals and support to auditors Annual Rate Package Ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling, as required

Qualifications required : Minimum 5 - 7 years related financial planning and analysis experience, preferably in the aerospace or other highly technical industries CPA designation Must be able to analyse and understand the operations, as well as the key drivers of the business Requires knowledge of IFRS, cost management, financial planning and analysis models Functions well independently with minimal supervision Effective problem-solving capabilities Must demonstrate timeliness, detail and deadline-orientation Must be PC-literate, with a concentration on spreadsheets, modelling and graphic software
