This is for a leading pharmaceutical company, with a unique domain.
Currently we are looking for a talented and experienced Business Analyst for its Canadian operations. The role partners closely with the inventory management units to shape on-going pricing and promotion strategies and initiatives to improve revenue and ROI.
The role collaborates with Sales Operations and Finance teams to develop hypotheses, tools, and analyses to support data-driven recommendations for customer contracts and promotional activities.
This role is a fit for those who have a good analytical skills and math skills to evaluate potential sales opportunities but also have the soft skills and motivation to work with the business units and strategize for better sales scenarios with prospecting and existing clients.
Title: Business Analyst – Net Revenue Management
Location: Hybrid, with 2 days in office. West Island, Quebec,
Position status: Full time permanent
Salary: to be discussed + bonus + Benefits (95% employer paid) + 5% matching RRSPs + 3-4 week’s Vacation + Food subsidy when in office + yearly wellness account.
Roles and responsibilities
- Enable and educate counterparts across the organization in Net Revenue Management discipline
- Ensure reliable tracking and reporting net revenue management performance
- Develop strategy and guide analysis to inform pricing and promotion activities
- Monitor and forecast sales trends
- Develop and refine analytics and tools to support key objectives and tasks
The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s in finance, economics, math, engineering, computer science or equivalent with preference for an MBA or advanced degree, at least 3 years of experience in a commercial function or business analytics function. Other requirements include strategic problem-solving ability, analytical background and understanding of relevant accounting principles, as well as strong communication skills and ability to influence without authority.
