It Business Relationship Manager

We are looking for an IT Business Relationship Manager for one of our clients in Canada. The candidate would be responsible for serving as a liaison between the IT department and business units within an organization. Their main responsibility is to understand the business needs and objectives, and align them with appropriate technology solutions.

You would be acting as a bridge between IT and the business, ensuring that technology investments and solutions are aligned with the organization's strategic objectives and contribute to its success.

Responsibilities:

• Project management: Lead or participate in IT projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget while meeting business expectations.
• Business analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes and identify opportunities for IT-driven improvements, efficiency, and innovation.
• Strategic planning: Collaborate with business leaders to develop IT strategies and roadmaps that align with overall business goals and objectives.
• Solution delivery: Work closely with IT teams to translate business requirements into actionable technology solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards and user needs.
• Change management: Facilitate the adoption of new technologies and processes within the business units, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
• Building and maintaining relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, priorities, and challenges.

Requirements:

• Experience in supporting projects and implementations
• Good experience in acting as a liaison between units and teams
• Bachelors degree in IT/Business or relevant field
• More than 10 years overall experience with atleast the last 4-6 years in an IT Business Relationship role within an organization
• Good communication and presentation skills
