Typical work activities
An Account Manager provide a vital link between clients and candidates. The role is demanding and diverse and involves:
- Manage candidate applications, interviews, tests and references
- Remain current on best practices for recruitment selection techniques and programs
- Attract business using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking
- Develop deep understanding of clients' business, industry and culture
- Finalize arrangements between client and selected candidate(s)
- Promote job vacancies via paid media, social media and other platforms
- Advise clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression
- Build and develop client relationships
- Headhunt suitable candidates utilizing candidate databases and networks
