RBC Royal Bank is seeking a core banking expert for our US Cash Management Technology. This is a green field project to build a brand-new system to serve our corporate clients. You will be heavily involved in shaping the future technology landscape of RBC, by delivering key business values for a transformational project in our Banking Technology while implementing strategic components servicing across all RBC functions defined in our roadmap

What is the opportunity?

The US Cash Management (USCM) Technology team is undertaking a green field project to build a brand-new system to serve corporate clients. In this role, you will be responsible for researching and creating attractive solid digital content to drive key messaging within the USCM Tech team, for the executive sponsors and various stakeholder groups. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across the USCM teams, consulting in strategy sessions to insert digital media and design concepts where they will add value throughout the organization.

What will you do?

• Lead, support and contribute to USCM Tech’s branding/marketing initiatives. I.e. promotion of the org’s accomplishments on a regular basis, synthesizing key messages and storytelling to our team and external partners.
• Analyze content performance metrics and improve digital content effectiveness and experiences across all digital channels and communications to drive business outcomes. Review and ensure the content creation processes for digital content comply with applicable processes, branding and marketing standards and policies.
• Build relationships, and working collaboratively with stakeholders across USCM, Technology and Capital Markets.
• Support the USCM Tech Senior Leadership team on a variety of strategic and tactical fronts.
• Leverage advantageous online communities, digital media influencers/partners and advanced techniques to drive traffic, produce high quality content and gather quality lead generation. Consult and deliver user-friendly design/multimedia strategies (graphics, editorial, medium/format, communication channel).
• Manage the development and production design for digital communications components required to support USCM Tech programs. Including, but not limited to: Executive presentations, infographics, print collateral, intranet web design, and templates.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

• Strong client-focus and responsiveness to business needs
• 5 to 7 years of related experience. Undergraduate degree in business/technical fields, equivalent to Graphic Design.
• Able to take existing copy and briefs and improve upon them to ensure that your design aesthetic and the copy work seamlessly together
• Experience in stakeholder relations, supporting teams with a focus on process and technology.
• Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft software programs, including but not limited to Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and Camtasia Studio
• Portfolio of past work that showcases your ability to conceptualize information into engaging and compelling digital assets, as well as proving their value-add and positive impacts. Please be ready to submit your portfolio for discussion and review.
• Well-developed communication and presentation skills including executive interaction
• Capable of following strategic directions while adhering to brand standards, while also being a motivated self-starter who can manage timelines, debate design philosophies and easily adapt to an ever-changing workflow.
• Be able to work as an independent contributor under minimal supervision

Nice to have

• Organizational Change Management (OCM) best practices.
• Video editing software knowledge.
• HTML/CSS and UX/UI background for intranet editing/development; Jive, Figma, or similar.
• Business Technology experience; Financial Services Sector, Capital Markets
